Saidit > ruqqus

[–]Jesus 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Saidit is non-partisan

Ruqqus is maga Zionist

I prefer this site because it has the old reddit layout. I hate having to use the new reddit layout that ruqqus has. We should try to bring ruqqus users over here instead.

My only objection with them is the 'downvote', not helpful I say.

    +DebateTheDissidentRight sounds rather long though.

    Have you seen +DebateAltRight there?

Yeah, but I have no idea who owns it and "alt right" is a bit of a dated term these days.

    [–]send_nasty_stuffNational Socialist 7 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 0 fun8 insightful - 1 fun -  (5 children)

It might end up being a good thing that we are slowly moving to the 'dissident' label.

Dissident seems like a LOT harder term for the deep media and their ipsy/IIA psychological operation algorithm system to scare normies away from. As much as I've come to have an endearing connection to the label 'alt right' if it keeps us away from getting our ideas out there we need to adjust accordingly. We are first and foremost a movement for preserving the nations, safety, autonomy, genetics and interests of whites and if changing a name allows us to do it better I'm all for it.

    [–]WaltzRoommate[S] 8 insightful - 1 fun8 insightful - 0 fun9 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

Yeah, I clung to the term longer than most but it's completely fallen from grace.

Cracking down on dissidents though just sounds evil.

And honestly, we're much more "dissident" than "alternative" these days anyways. Our position is less analogous to a new cool counterculture and much more analogous to any number of oppressed intellectuals throughout history.

This is a very astute observation. I totally agree. 'Dissident' is the natural evolution. They persecuted our soft 'alt' cultural offering and now they can see our 'dissident' side.

    [–][deleted] 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Bro, they care about the name less than we do, and they don't care about being evil too.

You have US politicians calling George Zimmerman a murderer even though in court it was proven otherwise. It's how things are done. All the terms you make up will end up equalling "nazi".

    [–]WaltzRoommate[S] 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

As little sense as it makes to me for the name to matter, I've been trying this out for over a year and it really does get a better reaction. I can't come up with the a priori justification, but you've gotta believe me when it comes to the difference in how people react.

    [–]send_nasty_stuffNational Socialist 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

They probably will turn 'dissident' into nazi but we have a window of time before they build in that conditioning. Alt right had a narrow period where it was considered an edgy but viable mainstream term.

For me personally both white nationalist, neo confederates, and alt right are the core and I use dissident right to describe the broader contingent of people that may overlap with some of our ideas but not line up personally on everything. For example someone that believes in IQ science and the dangers of central banking but isn't necessarily third position and doesn't like ethno state discussions is still a dissident. Another example is EMJ that isn't a race realist publically but very strong on opposition to organized jewry, anti porn, anti degeneracy, anti nihilism, anti Zionism etc. I consider a lot of authors and writers like EMJ, Mathew Raphael Johnson, James Perloff, Ron Unz, Joe Kelly, etc as dissidents and not necessarily white nationalists/alt right. This difference between the two terms is healthy because having extreme ideological purity can kill political coalitions.

The worst was when the alt-right got hijacked by subversive Jews and Libertarians. Milo calling himself alt-right while telling his audience that he had sex with a priest as a minor definitely is alt-right /s

I think the sub doesn't show up on s/all.

        [–]Jesus 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

For now. Admins are doing it for publicity. Knowing that if someone sees this sub on All they might be turned away.

Think of it this way. Allow more people to come and eventually this sub will be back on all. Those users all nestledin might just have to learn some new things that they probably have never cared to read.

        [–]bug-in-recovery 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (23 children)

So which is the main one?

I think we should pick one platform and stick to it.

        [–]send_nasty_stuffNational Socialist 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (22 children)

This is the main platform right now but ruqqus might eventually be a better place with moderates and leftists that want to debate. Right now saidit is blocking traffic to this sub. That's why we haven't had a lot of new users coming into debate. If saidit growth remains slow and continues to hamstring us it seems silly to stay here. Ruqqus has a healthy meme community as well and seems to have a better trajectory.

        [–]bug-in-recovery 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

Oh lol, I see you're on both places.

        Ruqqus actually looks pretty nice.

I would watch out though. Ruqqus is owned by Zionists it appears. All Kek Maga supporters. What happened on Gab.ai? (Gabbai = doing deeds for a synagouge by the way) What happened was that the Zionist owner started to delete people like us in mass, specifically those on the right who didn't adhere to Trump or any political affilation. They did exactly what YouTube did to revisionist history.

I trust saidit is only hiding this sub to allow more people of all colors and creeds to come here. I don't think this sub will ever be memoryholed like newhouse (Zionist owned) reddit did or Gab.ai.

That might be true but it shows the admin is willing to sacrifice principles for growth. That sets a bad precedent.

        [–]yellow_algebra_31 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (13 children)

Wow, when did this happen? Is there a post about this somewhere? Was there a reason given?

        [–]send_nasty_stuffNational Socialist 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (12 children)

It happened a few months ago and without notification or warning to mods. No reason was given until I pressed magnora7 a few days ago about it. His answer was something like 'your sub brings down the pyramid of debate' which isn't true at all and is lazy cop out. I was worried that this pyramid of debate thing was going to be used like this.

        [–]yellow_algebra_31 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (11 children)

I ended up checking the sub's mod log and I saw the mod action where he changed it there (along with a few other actions he apparently took). Was there already a post about what happened that I missed? Or do you have a link to the convo where you discussed it with him? (Or, if it was a dm, would it be ok to publish it?) I think it's important for people to be able to see how the admin is handling this.

        [–]send_nasty_stuffNational Socialist 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (10 children)

Wow. I'm in shock after looking at this. Am I interpreting this wrong? Is magnora7 going into DAR and making mod decisions for us?? Is that what I'm seeing here? How is this allowed? If this is true I can't imagine any mod would really want to devote their time to set up and moderate communities here on saidit. Why would they if admin is just going to sneak in and undermine the authority of the community? And without any due process or notification? WTF?

Was there already a post about what happened that I missed?

I'm really not sure. I do know that Salo2000 guy had another account that was banned and that's his sockpuppert. Not sure why magnora would unmute him. As mods we should have the right to mute people. Especially ones that are breaking our rules.

We are going to stay on saidit for now and experiment with ruqqus. If we do make a full move to ruqqus we will pin a post about it. Do you have any thoughts about saidit or ruqqus? We don't want to move everything over to ruqqus and then run into problems over there as well so we are just playing it slow right now.

I don't know about that. I wa sbanned on thedonald for simply asking wuestions about Israel and Zionism. I think you are allowed to ban people if they spam, post stuff that is irrelevant, basically spam, and those who spew ad hominems. I don't see that much here but this basically allows less censorship in the end. Reddit sucked because it allowed mods to ban anyone for anything.

          [–]send_nasty_stuffNational Socialist 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

It might sound strange but giving mods more power in fact creates more open speech. If mods are abusing their power then new communities will spring up that have a more fair approach to moderating and if users like the new community they will migrate. It's when admin meddles and favors communities or favors particular mods that problems brew.

          [–]Jesus 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)
