Eh, I don't really understand why you are attacking him. Do you want Belarus to be a dictatorship?

I do think the Belarusian political system needs to be revamped because it is unsustainable in its current form, however, the protests are mainly about installing an illegitimate puppet government and transforming Belarus into an EU-style "democracy", steering the country away from the Russian sphere of influence (its natural place considering its history and culture), and into the globalist Euro-American order. This project succeeded in Ukraine and was a complete disaster. So I oppose it 100%.

While the West means no good in the case of the Baltic countries (and Ukraine), I wouldn't say that these countries have fond memories of the results of the "Russian sphere of influence". It's really sad that they have to fight against all odds to maintain their independence.

Ukraine has no independence -- nor the Baltic states for that matter. It's a basket case. It's simply pivoted away from what should be its natural ally in Russia towards the EU and the US. It hasn't maintained independence it's swapped one master for a much worse one. Modern Russia isn't going to collectivize their farms and bring about mass famine or some other awful thing. I too understand why the Baltic nations and Ukraine are wary of Russia and think wariness is justified but the hysterical response towards Russia in those countries by some factions is damaging to all.

At the end of the day I think if the EU continues along its path and further integrates the Baltic countries and eventually, maybe, Ukraine Russian rule or dominance will be a longed for alternative.

Has modern Russia recognized the terrible crimes against these countries? Why should they forget the not so distant past?

And also they should't forget how the West betrayed them when they needed help.

Would that make you feel better?

Does the average Ukrainian want to acknowledge the crimes of their past or their eager role in helping the Nazis? (BTW I'm not saying they should or I want them to.)

All people have parts of their history they'd like to move past. I find this 'you must apologize for your crimes against me historically' that so many people engage in a very Hebrew affair and it rubs me the wrong way.

Ukrainians sided with the Nazis because they had seen their own people dying by the millions due to the Soviet occupation. Unfortunately for them, they didn't manage to gain their independence from the Soviets and probably have the West to "thank" for that. Though Germans would probably have other plans for the future if they had succeeded. The same holds true for the Baltic countries.

Anyway, you can't just commit a genocide and then expect that the people who suffered act as if nothing happened. They have the right to hold their independence instead of becoming again a puppet state for the Russians.

Petty Nationalism is gay. As another commenter stated it's mostly Jews you should be blaming for those atrocities but instead you're bickering with your racial brothers over crimes they can't change and had no involvement in.

How's Ukrainian 'independence' going after the Maidan? What a joke.

The role played by Jews in these tragedies is well known, but there are similar tragedies that were not the act of the Jews but of "racial brothers" (Poland, Yugoslavia, Ireland and so on). So there's no reason to abolish the concept of national independence.

Ukraine might not have ended where it could, but this still proves what I said before, that these countries are pressed from all sides and it's not easy for them to maintain their independence.

Crimes were committed by Jewish Bolsheviks. The Bolsheviks killed more Russians than Ukranians
