2017...simpler times. I remember so many still optimistic of Trump.

I remember this. I used to like PJW and watch his videos in 2016 and much of 2017, but this is the one that put me off him and the Alt-Lite writ large.

He wasn't brave enough to say "hey, I don't agree with Richard Spencer's or the Alt-Right's views at all, but I stand up for their free speech" or even just keep his mouth completely shut about it. He had to throw them under the bus and be dishonest about it. Meanwhile, he's bitched constantly over the years about people on his wavelength being deplatformed or demonised.

Every now and again I come across people who swear up and down that he's secretly based, but I don't think so. He's a shameless grifter who is only interested in being e-popular and making money by pretending to be somewhat edgy, usually by co-opting memes.

I've noticed he's grifting off Nick Fuentes and his America First movement these days, like that degenerate fed Milo is. That isn't going to end well. The first sign anything goes wrong, he'll throw them under the bus. For all their talk about "optics", you don't have to watch Nick Fuentes's streams for very long before you realise his movement is neo-Alt-Right. I.e. you can often see him and his AmNat followers gloating about whites conquering North America and displacing "spear-chucking Indians" or making fun of the Holocaust, or degenerate blacks. The only difference is they haven't come under fire from the mainstream media yet.
