I disagree that he would be a good leader. He may have been good at recognizing issues within the United States but his fictional books makes him someone you would want to avoid. The setting and his characters shows he is a deeply dark and disturbed individual. He would have done a better service if his books depicted characters that were white people that displayed traits found in white people. The characters in his books have no sentimentality, they are laser focused on a goal and kill anyone that stands in the way of their goal. Whether the ends justifies the means, none of the characters show apprehension for their actions. It is hard to get behind a leader that wrote fantastical fiction where the characters hunt down interracial couples and can kill people without any form of moral self-reflection.

Camp Of The Saints is a much better book because the struggle is whites innate sentimentality and their own self-destruction that results from it.
