    Don't become an Ubermensch.

Seems to me our interpretation of what the Ubermensch is might be a little different. For me, I don't think the Ubermensch is even attainable for us, but meant to resemble something we can strive to create, our descendants whom we have created a better life for who have surpassed us and become better in almost every way.

The will to power itself also has to do with existentialism and having full control over your body, without the unconscious mind making you suffer through depression, or whatever afflictions you might be dealing with. Instead, it works with you. This is also pretty much the consensus among philosophers and is described well in chapter XXXIV. Self-Surpassing in Thus Spoke Zarathustra.

I've only read Thus Spoke Zaruthustra and couldn't really get behind it. He read a lot like Chomsky in his lack of data.

Maybe I need to re-visit, but the problem I get with a lot of these political zealot philosophers is that their passion leads to bizarre abstractions and they end up 10 degrees of seperation from reality. Chomsky could create an argument from capitalism all the way up to collective ethics and racism and the connections he makes are hilariously imprecise. By design imo. It makes him impossible to peer review and critique.

From a functional standpoint, I would argue he is beneficial though. I prefer stoicism but he draws from the stoics in some ways.

Yes, his work also influenced Sigmund Freud and I could see why psychoanalysis was born as a result. Mainly Nietzsche brought to light a lot of our unconscious processes and how we can become better by essentially programming our body as I stated above.
