I dunno. It seems to be history repeating itself, the 'Alt-Right' in 2015-2016 all over again. Do you remember when people like Milo and PJW used to call themselves the 'Alt-Right'? I actually don't doubt that Nick Fuentes and AF are genuine, I certainly don't think they're feds, but they seem really naive, which isn't surprising as they're mostly kids in their late teens and early 20s.

For all the obsession about "optics" he and his AmNat followers have, Nick Fuentes doesn't actually exhibit better "optics" than many so-called 'WigNats' based on what I've seen in his streams and his behaviour in public. Here is just one example: His 4th July stream, when he did commentary on Trump's speech at Mount Rushmore, he gloated about the conquest of North America by whites and referred to Amerindians something along the lines as "spear chuckers". I don't give a shit about that myself, I found it funny since it's the harsh truth, but let's be honest, if he ever gains a bit of prominence, it's something his enemies have certainly clipped and will use against him in the media, and it's not a brand the GOP will want to associate themselves with. Good luck gaining their approval with cookie monster jokes about the Holocaust too.

The hardline TradCath stuff is also pretty cringe and divisive. It will not appeal to many whites in America, including Christian conservatives, who are mostly Protestants. The whole 'I'm a real conservative' shtick doesn't work in an American context since America was never a majority Catholic country.

To be honest, it's a red flag that 'Alt-Lite' tier personalities like Milo and PJW are associating with him or his content rather than the other way round. It's not a sign Nick or his ideas are 'winning' acceptance, it's a sign that they're looking to subvert his movement into Zionist CivNat shit and grift off his relatively high profile so they can look 'edgy', but the moment things turn ugly, they will be the first to throw him and his Groypers under the bus and talk about him as if he's a piece of shit on their shoe, like they do with Richard Spencer et al. I also have no doubt that Milo has shit on Nick and his followers on a hard drive. Milo has a history of causing drama for attention.

I agree with everything you've said. I want to add a couple points.

Back before Groyper wars, there was momentum to break in. Then Nick fucked it up when the cookie shit came out. I think Ben Shapiro walking past him at TPUSA was the killer. Since then Nick has gotten edgier because he knows he's reached a critical mass of popularity. He's driving his fans further right because he knows this is it. There have been a few Nick clones on YT and elsewhere gaining steam and their styles mimic Nick's. It's obvious they're Groypers without the baggage so they will be the ones to break in
