IMHO DAR can only work on ranked choice social media platforms. So Twitter and OO comment section is not viable.

I have control over the voat sub so that's already secured.

Ruqqus I've only glanced at but it could be viable. Someone who uses it a lot should weigh in and give us his opinion on it.

The sidebar has our Lemmy instance which is my prefered back up right now. It's federated and has lots of our guys on it even though it's very small.

NOT twitter. It is the probablhy the single biggest factor behind the NPC phenomenon. For starters, limiting posts to 250 characters operates very similar to newspeak. Many ideas cannot be properly expressed with such limiations.

Beyond that, as you well know, twitter is an insane asylum, both in its user base and the company itself. Right now, wokescold lunatics are going around admonishing people for rightly referring to Summer Taylor as she/her, insiting they and their. They of course are the ones misgengering. But, and here is the kicker, if you counter that, you can get banned on twitter per their counterfactual, insane "misgendering" rules.

Oh yes she is absolutely being used for political gain, although this is diminished because the driver by great luck was black and not white. They were already ramping up for Heather Heyer 2.0... before the identity of the driver was revealed.

I do not know what you are getting at and really do not care. In her essence she had some more or less nice features. If you watch the footage up to and including the hit, she really went non binary, gained some weight, had a buzzcut from what I can see. There is a whole lot more wrong with this, other than not taking care to respect the family or wishing HER to rest in pace.

Very true. Understanding the role of Twitter in our displacement (and of social media generally) needs to be a bigger focus of our movement going forward. These sites literally program social norms. They create a panopticon to punish right thinking people, and an audience to catalyze and coordinate increasingly transgressive left-wing behavior. If they were gone, or simply inoperative, we would be facing a very different environment.

The reliance on memes and gifs, limiting posts to so many characters, is really making people stupid. It is why both sides, but especially the woke twitterverse, not only fail to express original ideas (it is harder to express origianl ideas when expression is largely reduced to memes, gifs, and just 250 characters, typed on a mobile device that by its nature makes substantive prose difficult). They fail not only that, but fail to express them in any original or unique way.

I myself am on twitter, semi anonymously. Of late I am dipping much more into dissident politics because everything that is going on. Lost one or two followers (do not have all that many) associated with other more normy interests that I have.

One last thing, I am pretty sure twitter throttles posts. I wrote something re the #transpeoplearepeople bit saying, yeah all people are people, including deviants, lowlifes, or criminals, that it is a tautoligical statement that by itself will not cause me to cowtow to the wokescold lunacy.

1) Decentralized platforms, possibly Riot.im, having multiple known backups. People with Agency (which our group is obviously high in) will find the next location. Possible Tor requirements in the future depending on how bad things get.

2)Alt accounts on normie websites. They ban our communities. Diaspora into theirs.

For 2): You should be on Reddit, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, and even 4chan to do this. Keep at it, it works. Every time you show up to where they are, and with a positive spirit, it either causes those who want us gone to take up more desperate measures or it causes them to actually lose confidence. There is always collateral damage to any of their mass bannings.

You should be right back at Reddit right now pushing the same arguments and points that they couldn't effectively counter before the latest ban wave—they haven't gotten any better at such countering, and they probably never will. If you never give up, and stay smart with how you present your message, their ever-increasing censoriousness will eventually alienate enough people.

Being an unfunny asshole just emboldens them though: it confirms in their hearts and minds why you should not be allowed there. You can be an asshole, but you have to be very funny. You can also just not be an asshole at all. Just by being a generally pleasant person, who calmly presents a positive worldview for White people, not only helps people see things in a different way, but also has those effects mentioned above.

Nobodyhasthe.biz uses Lemmy as its platform and is federated (going to be). While tranny devs seethe over muh fascists on their platform, it's hard to tell how much can they do about it.

I believe that this specific site is donation-funded. It would be unwise for any community to build itself only in one place, let alone one that is in no sense permanent. Nonetheless, the rules here seem easy to follow (mainly, obey the pyramid of debate, no violence advocacy), and we are obviously grateful for this place. Some argue that having a presence in many places means that individual communities would be inactive, but I believe that having a presence in as many places as possible is best. This way, if any place one day closes, launches a ban wave, etc., there is little confusion among its members over 'Where do we go?'

I think the main problem at the moment is that 'DAR' (this sub) doesn't actually have a 'non-debate' alternative which is where most activity should be carried. Already we have both the mod and at least one or two outsiders wondering why 'DAR' (this sub) currently looks it should be just 'AR'. Of course, neither our side nor those few who start a debate thread without seeming as though they are looking for a fight actually know of this place. As more Reddit communities get purged (especially more TERF subs and other contrarian Left subs like 'LGBdroptheT' and 'detrans' get purged) more Leftists will come here. Thus the site mod does not have to worry about this site becoming another Voat. Just looking at "Find New Subs" shows that the overwhelming majority of them are nothing to do with us (to me, two of the 20 most recently made look like they're ours, and both have only one member). Also, the fastest growing sub looks to be s/GenderCritical (TERFs expelled from Reddit), which means a massive Leftward shift is happening already.

Voat has all the wignats. If we moved there their presence would make us look bad. Ruqqus seems OK if they solve their uptime issues.

For #1, Riot seems like the most secure option. I guess if you just want to shitpost or sympathypost you can do that pretty much anywhere though. For #2, go where the normies are. If you're on reddit, go to a sub for an activity you're familiar with and take every natural opportunity to redpill.

Ruqqus is decent but the debatealtright sub over there is pretty barren as of now, far less active than here.
