I can understand that being honorable would be a more well-received option than deceit. I was specifically looking into why they're so successful, but thinking of trying to emulate them makes me ill. Upon further speculation, these intellectually dishonest tactics would seem to be second nature to them, so you may be right that they don't know what they do.

That said, the dissident right definitely doesn't do enough to try and win, that some Israel-first president was sworn into office can't be considered a victory. I just watched John Doyle talk about peacefully putting the neoconservatives to route and electing real conservatives. I think most neocons really do have similar interests to the alt right, they just care way too much about being called raycis by militant leftists, and try to argue within their framework.
