why people like to say things got worse?

actually, more people today care about security, you still got some ways to get your shit. things change, as they do since the internet exist.

some changes doesnt mean everything gets worse. ive used to use altavista to search thing on the real net, and today, im kind of happy with every alernative, even bing (for porn).

life is always a process of changing, renewing and, yes, even 'recycling' old obsolete things, thats what happening in the DN since years.

people should not be so upset, they should look forward. even if it takes some effort to adopt.

I'm lucky to have joined during the golden age of the dnms when silk road 1 was still around. Nowadays it's just hacks4meth ddos'ing everything and the communities to get legit info are banned.

OP must not have been around since SR1. Things are very clearly very bad nowadays. I've been around since SR1 and it doesn't even compare. The sense of community and love from the SR1 store and forums was legendary. Agora was fantastic too, AFAIK the only market ever to close down without taking everybody's money.

Phishing is rampant, markets go down every week, vendors are busted weekly, and to make it worse there is nowhere to talk about any of this. The-Hub and Dread have barely any traffic compared to /r/DarkNetMarkets did.

Because of these problems, vendors don't even seem to want to deal with it anymore. There is such a shortage of reputable vendors it's depressing as hell. I've ordered 3 times in the past year and I've had a problem with every single order (didn't arrive,auto-cancelled order, and half a gram short, respectively). None of the markets have real support and scammers are seeming to thrive.

So yeah. Rant over. If you think the situation is good, you're on crack. The DEA/FBI is winning.

Anytime some drama in the markets happens people think it will never be the same again. Its probably the newer users that haven't experienced change in the past that think its over.
