A better place than the Rube Goldberg Ouroboros that Saidt resembles, that's for sure.

saidit or reddit?

I meant Saidt is a better place than reddit. I just assumed Saidt is sort of a reddit clone, maybe an improved version with a more palatable signal to noise ratio. Basicallyi meant that saidt resembles reddit.

Hopefully this Saidt sub grows, and you folks seem to be taking it slow and serious, which is probably for the best. At least we aren't eating ourselves alive here, like the /r/darknet subs.

Saidit web code is actually reddit code so all the formatting and other crap is the same.
As far as this sub, hopefully you know who samwhiskey is from the old days. He has recruited some of us old timers here and we have chosen to remain (hidden) seperated from reddit.
Our hands are tied to the saidit rules and we will never be what the glory days of the original dnm was at when it was at its finest. With that said, Sam has brought forward the vision of what dnm was pivoting towards before reddit did the blanket ban on subs. DNM actually did not break the rules when it was banned, it was policy. Out with the old, in with the trolls.
Believe it or not the old DNM was going to go towards a more harm reduction direction, while still trying to maintain the community history.
We have that chance here. We are not going to be judgmental and be all Dr Phil about shit, but harm reduction will also include stronger OPSEC values. We are still hammering out the details and welcome community input.
With that heavy load of thought out of the way, Welcome and let the fun begin. I hope.
