What has been your experience with Monero?

Bitcoin is expensive but if nobody uses Monero there's no point buying it

People do use monero. They just don't really invest in it because most of the exchanges are blacklisting it. Monero is a great cryptocurrency. There will always be a market for monero where anonymous electronic transactions are desirable. Any of those other coins could become unpopular and lose their market immediately, as these non-privacy coins are more or less interchangable in the utility they offer users
