bitcoin is simply not safe.

with gold or currency, at least you can bury it in your basement, but you cant do that with digital coins.

Cold storage. Just bury your crypto wallet on a thumb drive in your basement.

This wasn't with Bitcoin. It was with Ethereum, and only in some shitty video game that allowed people to transfer crypto in the game.

People can break into your home and steal your gold. And even if they don't, how are you going to spend your gold? What stores take gold ingots as payment?

People can't steal your crypto without your password. This game was hacked because the users didn't own their wallets. All their crypto was in the game-centrally-managed wallets, which once hacked, compromised everyone's walllets.
