People encouraging someone to use something because "the man" can't trace you are usually glowies trying to entrap people, so yeah.

If it were actually anonymous and untraceable, it being illegal would be irrelevant. They'd have no way to trace its usage or identify you.

You know what's actually anonymous and untraceable? The currency the drug cartels use. i.e. Regular old US fiat.
