I wonder if GPU prices will finally go down once all 21 million get mined?

I think GPU prices will go down when Ethereum switches to Proof-of-Stake.

My opinion is that they broke Satoshi's genius reward schedule, while looking to middle-man fees with the lightening network scandal. Since, screwing with the block size will prevent the coin from appreciating in value properly, the extremely delicate cross over of supporting miners from block-rewards to fees-only, will be way off.
Bitcoin will get cold feet and eventually change the reward rules. They may add a small amount of forever-block-rewards, like Dogecoin did.
