Everything that takes control out of governments is a threat to them.. Those politicians can barely understand basic economics and the current financial system, I doubt they know what are talking about. We have been robbed for a long time under the current financial system, banks and the central banks.. for the lack of alternatives.. When crypto started they all thought it's just something like a video game currency.. Their old arguments is money laundering (aka not paying abusive taxes on money you earned just because they want you to) and counter terrorism lol (terrorists are actually using the usd and the swift system, check the Iraqia channel and see the story of captured ISIS terrorists telling they get paid in USD)

They cannot reverse the shift, more and more people are getting involved.. I will do this anyways and think what want of it (legal / illegal) the more the censor it, the more people join
