Is crpyto basically a stock that you can buy or earn by mining it? Like I don't see a huge difference between stocks and this.

The underlying mechanics are totally different but you can look at crypto as highly volatile stocks. Same financial principles apply, same fintech.

It's a lot like the internet bubble. Wild speculation, fortunes being tossed at unrealized ideas and empty projects.
