I don't generally carry cash, although transferring out from an exchange to a bank isn't difficult, I do it all the time, and then to fiat from your bank, and that into your mattress for when the SHTF. Although I do have silver. Honestly though, try trading anything for fuel when the power grid is down. Cash, gold, jewels, pussy, they don't fill the gas tank.

True, but the average American can live 3 months without consuming a significant amount of calories. Your ass is stuck to a range of walking distance the second fuel runs out.
