What's your portfolio?

Also...

Use HTML based DEXs such as simpleswap.io

Mine on privacy networks such as Kryptex or MoneroOcean.

Trade only coins for coins.

My further advice: Minable coins=good, tokens=bad.

Eth, ada, atom, Tezos, xlm, link, eos. I'm pretty spread out, but kinda invest in what CB pimped before CB became less discriminating. Alt coins but not the shit coins.

I like staying on exchanges. I don't trust myself enough not to fuck up defi. Or get robbed. I'm iffy about my BlockFi account.

Man, I love Link. Too bad none of the exchanges I deal with offer it.

This is a 10 month old post. Relevant considering yesterday, but this was written when BTC was tumbling from $64k. I had ended up getting mostly out although I got burned bad by Luna, and am back in a little bit, fairly recently now that it looks like we're at bottom.

It's a good time to buy gold and silver—duh.

    [–][deleted] 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (5 children)

I love precious metals, it's a prudent investment. You see 25% returns in 5 years with PMs though, you can see that (and lose it) in a day with crypto but I wouldn't go all in on either one. Diversification is important, the winners (hopefully) more than make up for the bad picks.

Wise advice. I'm sure you've noticed that gold and silver have been sinking lower over the last few months but I figure it's the calm before the storm since value is bound to go way up soon. I like your taste in music as always. What did you mean by "Please Stop"? Oh, just realized this is a private message. Good idea since I tend to spaz out in public now and then.

    [–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

I meant for the crypto market to please stop falling.

I like your taste in music as always.

    Thanks man.

Not until you said something, I don't follow day to day spot any more, I have no plans to sell in the immediate future.

Oh, I am mos def NOT going to sell now. I think it's a sign that both metals are about to expode and boy howdy I sure hope so.

Sometimes I get a bit confused and I can't remember if I read this article on saidit or stumbled on it somehow: https://granitegrok.com/mg_manchester/2021/09/must-read-the-spartacus-letter-you-will-not-destroy-america-and-the-free-world-and-you-will-not-have-your-new-world-order It ties everything together. Yes, that page has a LOT of clickbait but the article mentions how the US and China cooperated on the Rona virus. The cooperation story was making the rounds early on in the CV story but now you almost never hear of it.Could it be that China and the US have been cooperating all along and the current rumors of war are just made up? Time to hit the gym. I hate it when the guys call me Mr. Blobby.

I was really excited about silver when I first got into it, and it's done well, even now, but I have more conservative expectations these days. I don't follow all that closely any more but my understanding is that the mining capacity of silver is not fully exploited and that will prevent price explosions normally. There's more than enough for whoever wants it. The 2011 price of $48 had to do with a temporary shortage for catalytic converts iirc.

I would think platinum should be more expensive than gold. I'm sure there's a reason for that.

I don't understand enough about that Spartacus letter to judge it one way or the other. It sounds impressive, but it'd take a lot of confirmation. At one point he mentions anti-oxidants are the effective treatment. I thought that was strange. Afaik the consensus is that although Antioxidants should be good for you in theory, there's no proof they help anything.

A well-balanced answer. I see that there are two sides of your e-projected personality: one the zany music lover and the other the erudite investor. Of course, there must be many other facets. I hope that cryptos go back up and stay there because you deserve to be filthy rich.

I've followed a lot of privacy coins but haven't found any with the privacy Monero offers. Care to share a few?

Cool, I thought you were going to mention some pesudoanonymous coins like Dash or Zcoin. I remember reading about MimbleWimble a while back, need to get up to speed. Why do you think that it's superior to Monero's stealth addresses and ring signatures?

That the hedgies have been manipulating crypto to use like a piggy bank in order to float their naked shorts?

          I like crayons.
