Most exciting new apps to watch in 2020
submitted 4 years ago by Sanfrajohnson from self.cryptocurrency
Have you guys heard about Uhive? It’s a new app that I downloaded the other day. It's pretty impressive. They got tons of posts. I was skeptical at first, but then found an article about them on inc magazine. I read online that they share 30% of their revenue with users and reward them with Uhive tokens (their own digital currency). Supposedly you can later exchange with real money, and you also get tokens for just engaging and connecting with others. Things I really liked about the app so far: You get to explore new interests especially that you are given the option to communicate publicly or to post and interact anonymously on the grey world. Share your thoughts, add any apps you’re using lately. If anybody wants to check out the website here’s the link: https://www.uhive.com/en The inc magazine article link: https://www.inc.com/larry-alton/how-facebooks-libra-currency-could-impact-upcoming-social-media-startups.html?fbclid=IwAR2dK2OfKc2pREZFqede0OiNQUyuWVRLTNR0aaayR9INZNLLKXmDI7dGurQ

That privacy policy is bonkers. See section 8 there. Does not match at all what they state about privacy in the About page. And I don't see any mention of them ever open sourcing their app or anything on the backend, which is common in regards to cryptocurrency startups.
