House Republicans are voting on a bill to abolish the IRS and eliminate the national personal and corporate income tax. The bill would also abolish the death, gift and payroll taxes. This is happening thanks to the growing power of the right-wing Freedom Caucus.

I wouldn't be opposed to a flat tax across the board. Even tiered based on income. No need for complex tax laws and it would likely pay for the government we need.

Entirely too much tax is collected by the government. It allows the career politicians to spend without limit and also skim without limit. And of course what they do is simply piss it all away on defense and proxy wars, causing chaos around the world. They should be spending it on things that benefit citizens such as education and infrastructure.

Taxes were never needed. It's all makework to keep Joe Average down.

This WILL most likely pass, since "money" will be all CBDCs in the future, rendering all humans into absolute slaves.

Sheeple gonna be, "what, no taxes anymore? Great! Sign me up for this CBDC business!!!!"

Taxes were never needed? How would you pay for a military, roads, community plumbing, etc without taxes?

Our governments in the West had most of those before income taxes existed. Income taxes were TEMPORARY MEASURES to pay for WORLD WAR I. That's been over for a while, AFAIK?
