  • NPR has accepted Koch brothers money to sponsor Marketplace
  • In 2016 NPR under-covered Bernie Sanders so hard that the comments of longtime listeners on npr.org were raging. So NPR removed the comments section entirely, during election season.

Back in the day, I thought NPR was great.

Back in the day, I was retarded.

Didn't I used to work for Iowa Public Radio? Wasn't it pretty much the best job I ever had? Doesn't the FCC kinda just incentivize people to work by requiring that all antennas have their power levels observed on the hour, 24/7? Wouldn't I have a hard time going from making $7.25 sitting on my ass to making $11 assembling air fresheners for Bed Bath & Beyond a decade later?

You're trapped in your own head.

Didn't I just work there Friday and Saturday nights during college? Couldn't I probably just reminisce with u/Zapped about Click and Clack, the Tappett brothers?

I always thought NPR was state-media

but I guess all media is state-media nowadays

It is. They are funded partially by the state, which does make them state-media.

Conveniently they can also take private money from individuals and corporations (although they like to call this the 'public' when they in fact mean the 'private'). Then they can tell you who their 'donation sponsors' are and thank them while not calling it advertising

NPR like PBS was always about the propaganda for hire with donations from large leftist corporations.

You can thank the LGBT for this.

They are a disease that infects everything they touch.

This article has literally nothing to do with LGBT, did you not read it?

I listen to npr in my car.. it is a pure woke/LGBT/wear a mask message.

I don't need to read the story to understand nor, because I listen to npr.

Yes, thats accurate, but LGBT doesn't actually have anything to do with wearing masks either, it's just the same people pushing these two different messages
