That's a FACT.

Though this is not new, this is the first time I've seen any video on the matter.

We keep talking about it on the organic farm where I hang out, and elsewhere. As is often repeated - they shred EV-ER-Y-THING down to feed the animals, not just pigs - including the Twinkie wrappers.

Frankly if its chunks of plastic that should just pass through as it they're swallowed a penny. It's more the microplastics made by plastics degrading which are a problem.

Shredding and chewing makes micro-plastics.

Depending on the type of plastic, acids, digestion, and maybe even bacteria may break it down further, micro or not. And some plastics inherently leach toxins (ie. Bisphenol A).
