DOJ admits it DID seize documents that could be protected by attorney-client privilege during Mar-a-Lago raid

Notice "could be". Meaning that under a conceivably possible fact pattern, some of the documents may have been part of communications between somebody and their lawyer.

  • backing up Trump's claim that FBI agents had NO RIGHT to take them

It does fucking not.

Trump took documents from the Whitehouse, in contravention of the presidential records act.

When some of them were returned after 7 months of requests from the archivist, they were horrified to find that there were classified and top secret documents mixed amongst them.

Notifying the DOJ in February, an investigation was opened culminating in a search warrant being executed investigating corruption of justice, espionage and mistreatment of records.

Kinda like when Hillary had that private email server? Funny I don't recall any FBI raids

Similar wrt 18 U.S.C. § 1519. But a lot worse, because his refusal to return all the documents over the 7 months between when the archivist started trying to get them returned and then recieving those boxes trump was done with is a much better indication of criminal intent.

But of course Trump's warrant included crimes under 18 U.S.C. § 2071, interfering with an investigation and 18 U.S.C. § 793, espionage, that go far beyond Hillary's email setup.

Funny I don't recall any FBI raids

That's because you need a search warrant, which means you need probable cause of a crime.

What i wonder now that it's known that trump had "no foreign" humint documents, whether this is related to the US's humint losses over that time.

Coincidence?

Oh please, Hillary bitwiped the server before turning over the records, thats just as bad. She also got caught doing quid pro quo's as secretary of state in return for donations to the Clinton foundation. Or maybe we can talk about that message Joe left for Hunter proving he lied about having no knowledge of Hunters business deals. Or the election interference they committed killing the laptop story and passing it off as Russian disinformation.

I'm not a fan of Trump, and I've never voted for a Republican, ever, but the DNC establishment is at least as corrupt and criminal as the Republicans, and this is a ridiculous witch hunt given the double standards involved

Okay. I'm aware that she had about 60,000 emails on her server, and had her staff go through them, and delete the ones that weren't work related when the server was decommissioned, which turned out to be about half of them.

I'm not aware of this "bitwiped" claim. Do you have a link.

She also got caught doing quid pro quo's as secretary of state in return for donations to the Clinton foundation.

I'm not aware of this either. Do you have a link for that too?

Or maybe we can talk about that message Joe left for Hunter proving he lied about having no knowledge of Hunters business deals.

If you want. You should start with a link to your claims. Note that if Biden is guilty of something, it doesn't make espionage by trump legal. And his hiding of the documents aggravates the crime and makes formal prusuit by the DOJ more likely.

Or the election interference they committed killing the laptop story and passing it off as Russian disinformation.

Again, if you want. Again start with a link to your claims. And again note that that doesn't make selling military information about the US to foreign countries legal. Two people can be guilty of different crimes.

I don't think that's nearly true this time. Trump is brought criminality to the whitehouse on a whole new level.
