And documents recovered include top secret SCI documents. SCI documents are called "above top secret" not supposed to leave a sensitive compartmented information facility. Nor even discussed outside a SCI facility.

Certainly not housed in at golf course hotel that has staff and visitors moving around.

Why diddnt they go get them when they knew they were there?

They asked for them. That was refused a couple of times before they decided to go through the process of getting the search warrant.

It seems they were treading particularly carefully, probably given the political profile of the target.

How did the documents get to mar a largo?

I'm guessing that trump didn't load up 30 boxes of documents on his own. And it looks like these documents are the ones that were thought to be the most valuable ones to take, so again, I suspect that there were more that one person selecting the documents. Time will tell if charges are brought.

What part did trump play in this?

Good question. There's a range of possibilities.

It's a crime to have such documents away from the SCI facility, so that's the minimum.

But certainly it matters if it can be shown that he intended or did sell the information to foreign nations.

Or intended to keep them from the Jan 6 investigations, or hide other wrongdoing from investigation.

Superficially, it looks like he took documents of value that he realised that he would no longer have access to once he wasn't president, and that seems Trumpy. This was the time that he was soliciting his supporter base for donations that he claimed was to contest the election results in courts, and just pocketed the funds. And pardoning hundreds of rich criminals, at least some priced at $2M per pop.. So he and people around him were doing a desperate cash grab, at least at the expense of law and order.

After the Russia gate thing, I don’t believe anything you guys are writing. Like I literally think it’s made up lies.

The warrant and the receipt are at the link. What specifically don't you believe?

Trump certainly had Russian contacts before during and after his presidency.

It looks like you are not happy he is going to run for president again, and your trying to frame him.

You think I took SCI documents to Mar-a-lago?

    That's a new one.

Also keep in mind the democrats make a theater of accusing Trump of the crimes they themselves have committed and gotten away with so this is just they’re same old schtick

This seems a little imaginative. Care to elaborate on any of the specifics?

It's true that Joe Biden leveraged $1 billion in aid to persuade Ukraine to oust its top prosecutor, Viktor Shokin, in March 2016. But it wasn't because Shokin was investigating Burisma. It was because Shokin wasn't pursuing corruption among the country's politicians.

In any case, trump's crime appears to be espionage.

How many other foreign officials did Biden quid pro quo out of a job?

      Espionage in what way?

How many other foreign officials did Biden quid pro quo out of a job?

      I'm not aware of any.

      Espionage in what way?

      From the search warrant:

      Attachment B
      Documents to be seized

All physical documents and records constituting evidence, contraband, fruits of crime or other items illegally possessed in violation of 18 USC §§ 793, 2071 or 1519

18 USC §793 is the law against gathering, transmitting or losing defense information.

So I guess we're looking at espionage as in gathering and transmitting top secret defence information.

      Thanks for your civilised reply.

      What makes the FBI tarnished?

They went there in mid-July and toured where the cache of boxes which likely still had confidential material was being stored. They told Trump to put a larger pad lock on it.

They literally toured the basement closet last month, so any lies about refusing is just stupid lies.
