I have a better explanation.

He files his IRS income taxes as a "non-resident alien". Per the IRS regs.

In other agencies it's called a "non-citizen national" of the USA.

It's the exemption of the oligarchs, and they have their legit, inalienable, constitutionality protected, God-given rights.

He's a national of the USA, and not a US citizen, resident (serf). Voluntary servitude.

I know, personally, because I joined the club. I renounced nothing.

Forget the "admirably law, "sovereign citizen" bullshit PsyOp.

Volunteer out, of voluntary servitude.

If you want proof of this superior status then look no further than the US passport application.

https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/legal/travel-legal-considerations/us-citizenship/Certificates-Non-Citizen-Nationality.html.

The way to volunteer out of "voluntary" citizen servitude is found at the bottom section of the page.

Section 302 of Public Law 94 - 241:

Any person who becomes a citizen of the United States solely by virtue of the provisions in Section 301 [applying to those born in or residing in the Northern Mariana Islands] may within six months after the effective date of that Section or within six months after reaching the age of 18 years, whichever date is later, become a national but not a citizen of the United States by making a declaration under oath before any court established by the Constitution or laws of the United States or any other court of record in the Commonwealth in the form as follows " I _____ being duly sworn, hereby declare my intention to be a national but not a citizen of the United States."

This is a political designation, and no one can tell you what your political status is.

Opt out.

There's a bullet proof way to go about this process, but the above proves this superior status exists.

Let me know if you're interested.
