Speaking with Fox host Neil Cavuto, Fauci said “One of the issues, Neil, that I have articulated in the past and I will in the future – it’s less about mandates on the plane than it is about who has the right and the authority and the capability of making public health decisions.”

He continued, “I believe that the Department of Justice is operating on the principle that decisions that are public health decisions belong with the public health agency, in this case, the CDC.”

“So it’s more of a matter of principle of where the authority lies than it is about whether or not there’s gonna be a mandate on a plane or not,” Fauci declared.

And that reasoning makes sense to have a competent health authority manage healthcare responses.

The issue is the people in place did a horrible job, and there's no responsibility for it.

The Kremlin needs to step up their game with their ZH articles.

Regardless of whether the health authorities are competent or not, we have autonomy over our own bodies and places of business. This is about control, not health or safety.

Aww, I thought you were better than that. Too bad.

They're compromised, dude. It's like getting your info from WaPo, but instead of the CIA it's Russia.

Well for one thing, Zerohedge is an aggregator of various news sites and blogs, and 'Tyler Durden' is more than one individual. But if you have evidence that ZH is controlled/influenced by Russia I'd genuinely like to see it.

I distrust them because they were pushing the Russian narrative that troops amassing at the Ukraine border were just there for a training exercise. Which was ridiculous. If they weren't willingly disseminating shitty Russian propaganda, they were fooled by it. I am going to assume the worst case scenario but I don't like either one, and the safest course of action is to treat everything from there with a critical eye.

Again, Zerohedge is a news aggregator presenting a number of different viewpoints. Plenty of people, including myself, were wrong about Russia's invasion of Ukraine. That doesn't make them a Russian asset.

Perhaps not, but it makes them fools, and I don't plan on following foreign agents or fools. I'm just crazy like that.

I believe a coordinated health response, if done well, could have benefits. Like the Ebola outbreaks in the 80s seemed to be handled well in Africa.
