It is, and it's the excuse given by Indians. The major difference is that this is a common problem especially in the Delhi and northern areas because there is also a culture of rape in some of the villages, with no accountability for all rapists, no reliable policing, and certainly no justice in the corrupt court system, as well as the likelihood that the parents of the raped girls will often remain quiet, so that their family is not harassed, and the girl's future is not at risk (options for marriage), and much much more. Rape, pedopheilia, and corruption are endemic at all levels of society in various parts of northern India.

Please link to the article about rapists dropping off thier child victim at the police station, and the police do not arrest the rapists and instead rape the victim again in the USA.

Because, as I have said, this does not happen in the west.

You really this clueless? The women of the United States can and do report the crime when perpetuated against them. Maybe not all but a large number. In India, not a chance most will report this. The women are shunned by their own families if they are raped. Big difference in the two countries. The US is light years ahead of India in this matter and the US has come light years in how sex crimes are investigated and prosecuted. The training provided to detectives in sex crimes units is top notch in the vast majority of agencies now. (US of course)

Men have a powerful drive to fuck and there aren't enough women to go around in India.

And it's a spiral effect. Women aren't safe so women are removed from the public. They get fat eating veggie marsala and going on chat apps, till they get married off in a business deal for the wealthier dudes. Total commodity. But that just makes the common man that more desperate.

I don't know what to do about it. Drops nukes on them? Sterilize them with a vaccine? Invent cheap sex bots?

India and China both have a surplus of males, but only one country has an out-of-control rape epidemic.

China's got the same men:women ratio problem, but don't have a rape epidemic or rape culture.

It's just that Indian culture, ideology and caste system have women reduced to a lower status. The concept of rape is glorified.

I've trained law enforcement from India here in the US and I have been to their country. I've been to many foreign countries for work and I will always maintain India is by far the worst of all of them. By far. They, always men, are the most rude and obnoxious people I have ever met. Interrupting you is like a damn sport to them to see how often they can do this. Interrupting someone trying to teach is the norm. Raise your hand to ask a question? Surely you jest. Apparently Indian males outnumber Indian females by 37 million in the whole country. Basically more males in cities and villages than females due to a male child preference in Indian families with female child trafficking and forced marriages being also being factors.

According to studies Indian men feel discrimated against because there are so many laws protecting women. Males do not get the same protection and many abused males get no justice at all.
