Don't worry too much about their connections the gates name carries. And if that's even true, needing to make your own way in the world without welfare is not the worst fate.

I'll just point out this was only possible because millions of people ignored the fact that gates and microsoft were well known as the evil empire that they are, and purchased windows, and a windows machine.

Without windows supporters, gates would have been unable to perpetrate this evil.

but the Gates MS-DOS deal was sick, we have to pay capitalist respects. he bought DOS off of some dude for a couple of grand, re-branded it, and re-sold it to IBM for millions.
