Indeed - it's just her, and not hundreds of other congresspeople.

Democrats have tried to stop insider trading: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/STOCK_Act

Certainly you know legislation is proposed without any serious consideration of its passing. That's populism, and you hate populists, remember? Dirty, uneducated peasants. Democrats are in favor of corruption because it benefits them. And who can argue that it doesn't?

The issue here is that insider trading on the Hill is definitely a problem, which is why right-wing propagandist Jimmy Dore tries to turn your attention to an old Democrat who should have retired years ago. This shifts our attention on the real problem to one Democrat, whereas ALL congresspeople should be investigated for insider trading on a regular basis, and that the ONLY people who want to limit insider trading have been Democrats. The bill from the Obama administration was one of many in 2012 meant to curb corruption. The GOP have been the party of deregulation and corporate abuse. (There have been republicans who've supported insider trading laws - in 1988, for example - but in general, the GOP and others have engineered loopholes in the legislation that allow them to continue insider trading and to hide their money offshore.)

right-wing propagandist Jimmy Dore

Bahahaha...OMG seriously? Jimmy Dore is a hard leftist. It's just that he breaks the cardinal rule of leftism - no criticism to the left, no friends to the right. He's willing to subject his own side to critical analysis and, being a leftist himself, is able to deftly point out where they've gone wrong. Obviously this is infuriating to the left, who would rather their shortcomings be censored.

The GOP have been the party of deregulation and corporate abuse.

Establishment GOP. They hate the American people with the same fury that the Democrats and you do. They've much more in common with you than you would ever admit. That's why they're sometimes called the "Uniparty".

Sorry - you lost me at "Jimmy Dore is a hard leftist."

Dore acts like he's concerned about the 'left' while DEFINITELY supporting the extreme right wing, because he's constantly attacking politicians on the left. He's helping the right, not the left. There is so much written about this, though here are two sources:

he's constantly attacking politicians on the left. He's helping the right, not the left.

Exactly. By breaking the maxim "no friends to the right, no enemies to the left" he has made himself an enemy to the hard left. Of course they're going to call him a nazi. Of course they are. It's what they do to everyone to the right of Mao Zedong.

Jimmy Dore's actual policies are definitely left. The difference is that he has sympathy for the working joes instead of contempt like the rest of his side. Here's his views in a nutshell, in his own words:

"The Democrats gutted welfare at the same time they exploded the prison population, called black people 'super predators', at the same time they did NAFTA. Then they deregulated Wall Street, which crashed the economy within 10 years. That's what Democrats did. Democrats did things that Ronald Reagan could only dream about, in his wet dreams. George HW Bush couldn't pass NAFTA. It took Bill Clinton to do it. Bill Clinton gave the cover to the other corporate Democrats to go along with it. That was the beginning of the end for the working class in America.

Then the Democrats wag their finger at people with no money and no power, for not voting for a corporatist warmonger like Hillary Clinton. Why do you think the people in Michigan wouldn't vote for Hillary Clinton? Maybe because she put half of them in fuckin' prison? Because she passed NAFTA, and Barack Obama was trying to sell TPP at the top of his lungs, at the same time she was trying to get working people to vote for her? They knew what the fuck was going on! That's why half the country didn't vote. But you're going to wag your finger at the people who actually do vote? Who come out and vote their conscience? You know what voting for the lesser of two evils gets you? Donald Trump!"

Yes - I see your points, though I also agree and argue that the Clintons deserve quite a bit of criticism for their dirty deals with the GOP. It's horrific that the DNC nominated Hilary. But my problem with Dore is that he's focused only on criticisms, which ring dry after a while, especially when he's not looking at the broader picture, or balancing his arguments, or considering the impossible alternatives. His most recent criticism of AOC is that she's not doing enough. He's really reaching as far as possible to find critical material, and what he's found is that this broadens his listener base and pays his bills. Meanwhile, his followers also focus only on criticisms and not solutions, will not want to vote in elections (because everyone is a baddie), and are impossible to talk with regarding politics because they only know how to whine about every single topic. It's pathetic. Dore is a businessman, and sees that his complaints make money. But by throwing the baby out with the bathwater, he's fucking over the pro-democracy democrats who are trying to make a difference for the 99%, even if they too are limited.

It's horrific that the DNC nominated Hilary.

They didn't nominate her. She stole the election from Bernie. Dore was a hardcore Bernie supporter. Something that nazis aren't known for doing.

He has plenty of solutions. Most of which start with "not being corrupt bastards" which eliminates most of the Democrats. Including AOC, who just wore a $30,000 dress to a gala full of pedophile billionaires.

Electoralism is considered a non-starter by the hard left, as you know well being one yourself.

They didn't nominate her.

They did - that's the legal name for it.

She stole the election from Bernie.

I think there was good evidence of this, but conversations with normal people have to address the fact of the nomination, after which one can discuss the evidence of manipulating votes. Nonetheless, Bernie had an unelectability problem, but I think he would have solved it with his many supporters (including me).

Dore was a hardcore Bernie supporter. Something that nazis aren't known for doing.

Which is why Dore is a fraud. He and some other Bernie supporters who helped get Trump elected are terrible people and caused additional problems for the 99%, as well as Democrats.

He has plenty of solutions. Most of which start with "not being corrupt bastards" which eliminates most of the Democrats. Including AOC, who just wore a $30,000 dress to a gala full of pedophile billionaires.

Yes - the Gala is terrible - but AOC offered an important political message to the "rich" who were at the Gala. She also supported Bernie, and addresses many of the concerns Bernie had. Why do you think she was not a pic for VP? Because of the damn DNC &c. None of this is simple.

Electoralism is considered a non-starter by the hard left, as you know well being one yourself.

I'm a centrist. (Though I appreciate that the extreme right-wing folks here don't see it that way, nor does it matter. Don't make any of this personal or take my comments personally.)

"social democracy is objectively the moderate wing of fascism"

I don't know who you're quoting, but the 1930s concept of German fascism did change significantly by 1939, and is very different today.

LOL for a centrist you sure are suspiciously up to date on what the hard left thinks. You have their positions - they hate Jimmy Dore just like you and make those exact same arguments.
