This question is used to justify masks, vaccinations and lockdowns. I've seen your answer tried before, it didn't work. You would need a better answer. Or new friends.

In a dispute about vaccination, lockdowns and masks, otherwise reasonable people use the granny as an argument. Your counterargument gets dismissed. Because it can't prove love. Probably.

Dude. What are you on about. My grandmother loves me and I love her, and we both want liberty over safety. We don't want to impose our beliefs on anyone, unlike the pandemic supporters, who wish to taze and lock us up for the sake of "granny" EVEN THOUGH MY GRANNY IS ON MY SIDE.

There are times when masks are useful, there are times when they are harmful. People should be allowed to act based on their situation. A world where everyone is expected to participate in blindly punishing pro or anti maskers, because a licensed fool from a far away place has told them to, wouldn't be a nice place to live.
