It's like the scenes in "Breaking Bad" where Saul launders and funnels Walt's ill gotten gains to his family through hundreds of other people "donating" to Walt's son's crowdfunding account. Organized crime families can just pay forgettable dullards like Ms. Brown to be low risk short term bagmen. If done smartly, none of those morons ever know enough about their operation to be a threat and if they demand more you quietly move on down your list of dumb dumbs while cutting that one off.
