It's doubtful that a few average Indonesians could do that without some powerful people running interference. Indonesia has a good relationship with the US gov. In case the US Army is needed to quell rebellion, and US troops refuse to fire on their own countrymen, Indonesian troops have already trained and practiced for that contingency, on US soil.
