I've been calling out this thing with Biden's son being put on the board of energy of the Ukraine for a while, since before it became an issue with Trump. It blows my mind that Trump calling for investigations of obvious collusion, is itself met with accusations of collusion.

What's the bigger collusion, that Trump asked for some quid-pro-quo about investigating corruption, or that Biden has literally made his son nearly the head of the energy sector for the entire country of Ukraine? It's obvious the latter is the bigger corruption.

I'm not a huge Trump fan, but the hypocrisy of these people is astounding. And now we see Pelosi may be involved too. So many palms being greased. Disgustingly corrupt.

Its not exactly quid-pro-quo. The Democrats had been trying (i.e. PAYING) to prevent the Ukrainian corruption investigations. Donald Trump used one of the most powerful forms of leverage he could to force the investigations to continue: The military aid.

Now: If it was quid-pro-quo then that would mean Donald Trump KNEW that the Democrats had agents siphoning money from Ukraine companies.

But if he knew the Democrats were corrupt, then he would be correct in using all the powers at his disposal to uncover the corruption.

If he DIDNT know the Democrats were involved, then he would have been the luckiest person on the planet who just happened to uncover a massive scandal.

This is why you hear jokes about Donald Trump playing "4D Chess" and such. Its because one can only be so lucky before you realize that the person you are playing against is an expert.

Or a Grandmaster.

The Impeachment processes was the final nail in the Democratic parties integrity. I guess they were trying to blame the Senate for stalling the process but Donald Trump called them out on this as well by telling them to hurry up and hand over the articles of impeachment for proper investigation.

4D Chess Grandmaster

edit: This is also why I am interested to see what people who dont like Trump have to say because the normal view is what the media tells you is true.

How do I follow what is actually going on VS what the media wants me to think? I've always seen Trump's genius, but not his political side. I'd love to follow it properly.

Snopes, FactCheck and PolitiFact all conclude the Paul Pelosi/energy company/Ukraine story is false.

I did a search recently, and it's "half-true" https://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2019/may/07/viral-image/fact-checking-joe-biden-hunter-biden-and-ukraine/

"If the prosecutor is not fired you're not getting the money!" Joe Biden https://youtu.be/Q0_AqpdwqK4?t=3160

"The other thing, There’s a lot of talk about Biden’s son, that Biden stopped the prosecution and a lot of people want to find out about that so whatever you can do with the Attorney General would be great. Biden went around bragging that he stopped the prosecution so if you can look into it... It sounds horrible to me." - Trump https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2019/09/25/us/politics/trump-ukraine-transcript.html

See also: https://youtu.be/-VSi2U0OVpA about if there was an ongoing investigation.

The above transcript is from the communication that is at the basis for the impeachment process, according to reddit one is "quid pro quo" and the other isn't guess which one is which: https://www.reddit.com/r/banned/comments/egvwyx/permabanned_and_muted_off_rcenterleftpolitics_for/fccmogi/?context=3

I spoke of Pelosi's son not Biden's.

POST TITLE: Trump Exposes Pelosi And Son's Ties To Ukraine-Linked Energy Group**

COMMENT: Snopes, FactCheck and PolitiFact all conclude the Paul Pelosi/energy company/Ukraine story is false.

Why not both?

...but you're right, the article I linked is specific to Biden, but I do expect that it will get the same treatment.

[–]DffrntDrmmr 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Of course, and both the Pelosi and Biden situations appear to almost certainly involve influence buying

The Biden story is even more of a mess since it involves a foreign nation, the vice-presidency and is part of the story of an impeachment of the president.

The gateway pundit just released more news or something.

https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2019/12/revealed-nancy-pelosis-son-paul-pelosi-jr-was-given-lucrative-180000-a-year-position-on-infousa-weeks-after-his-mother-became-speaker-despite-having-no-experience/

REVEALED: Nancy Pelosi’s Son Paul Pelosi Jr. Was Given Lucrative $180,000 a Year Position with InfoUSA Weeks After His Mother Became Speaker — Despite having No Experience!

Jim Hoft by Jim Hoft December 29, 2019

The more you look at Paul Pelosi Jr. the more you see another Hunter Biden. Paul Pelosi Jr. – like Hunter Biden, was given no-show jobs for which he wasn’t qualified in an effort to buy influence with his politician parent.

There have been several tweets about this too.

I guess we'll just have to wait for what the new year will bring.

That's probably the organization in California I saw mentioned and, yes, it does reek of influence buying, just like with Biden's son. I saw Biden's son in a TV interview admit he "probably" wouldn't have been given the position and huge income if his father wasn't vice-president of the U.S.

How common is this? Two children of high-ranking Democrats — certainly makes their morality complaints seem hypocritical.

Your sources – Zero Hedge, World News Daily, Breitbart, among others – are far less credible than those fact-checking sites.

I encountered a deceptive PolitiFact article written by the chief writer, so I know first-hand PolitiFact is not always accurate and truthful. However, when I did a quick background check into the credibility of this Pelosi's son allegation I read enough consistent statements in those fact check reports to feel comfortable the story's bullshit.

Even with reason to be way of fact-check sites, the sources you offer to discredit them is on a entirely lower level of credibility.

i never post fact check sites. why bother? do your own research if you really want the truth.
