I think the psychological aspects of reality have a huge power to influence our perception of things, because of that the elites seek control of the media and there is a contant theme about ridiculing more spiritual perspective so people never realize what power they truly have. Carl Jung was the one who I think studied these psychological aspects the most.
According to Jung, dreams are a gate to our collective soul. If people take the time to study what their dreams tell them through symbols people would notice that there is indeed a meaning to them. Jung thought the study of the meaning of dreams was important for gaining a more complete personality and reaching what he called individuation.
