Absolutely! We are all being played by all the media all the time.

A big problem is that people get their understanding of reality from media and "authoritative" sources, instead of listening to a wide array of sources, considereing contrary viewpoints, and forming their own opinions. News these days has all the opinions you need prepackaged and repeated over and over for your convenience. No need to read or understand those pesky details or listen to facts, all the conclusions are already there - prepared just for you and whichever team you're on.

We're all human beings, racism in in 2019 is a largely a contrivance of the media to get the non-eliete, the 99%, to fight amongst themselves. I think the majority of people are actually on the compassionate side and would help another regardless of skin color. I think even a child can see that a persons skin color, just as their eye color, doesn't make them any less of a human being.

Although, there are people who do think there are lesser humans, and those people really don't care about skin color. They just want control and power, and people keep going along with it. I guess if you don't have a mind to question then you don't have a mind to fathom the alternative.
