“Last Friday, Assange’s Swedish defender, lawyer Per E Samuelson, visited his client in prison. In a letter to Uppsala District Court, the lawyer says that they met for just under two hours. According to the lawyer, Assange’s state of health at the meeting was such that ‘a normal conversation with him was not possible’. Julian Assange is said to have been taken to the prison’s ward, but there is no more detailed information about his state of health.”

He could get switched out like Timothy McVeigh.

Wait--what?

According to one witness Tim McVeigh was still breathing after his execution.

It's conceivable that JA was a willing limited hangout for some agency who planned the arab spring, etc. And it's finally time for him to bail out. That's when you turn sick.
Escape the hospital, and they claim to have cremated your body. Fin. ;-)

I'm basically making this up.

He's probably near catatonic with anxiety, given the global empire has pressured the vassal Governor to turn him over.

Crazier things have happened, though.

Thanks, I didn't know that McVeigh detail.

It's hard not to get really dark and cynical these days!

I support JA, and think that his work is definitely net positive for the world.

He should be freed.

I would also accept a well-executed James Bond-esque escape.
