I don't quite understand how the number of school shootings or mass shootings are statistically impossible. Different groups define what is and isn't a mass or school shooting differently. National reporting has also changed. The world has gotten smaller.

You have a good case there. I'll just suggest you take the time and watch a few of UK Critical Thinkers videos. I'll leave it at that, I know most high-profile mass shootings are drills passed of as real and for many that is hard if not crazy to believe. I won't convince you, I'll just ask, on your time to watch some of his videos. The statistical numbers based on definitions of shootings could have changed dramatically thus skewing results. However, the bread and butter is the narratives and perception management of these many high publicized shootings. Researchign the timelines, police and court documents and records, you'll start to understand the game being played. Again, watch some of his videos, he has many series on each event.
