I agree Zeus character has long been acknowledged as being the demiurge (the creator). But because of the Christian/Catholic, and even the conflicting claims of Gnostic writings, historic practice of labeling competing religious deities as evil I wouldn't go as far as saying he is the same as Satan.

Satan (the adversary) was a construct made by Jewish thought and if he were the same as Zeus I see no reason why they would not have said so. Some could argue that the God described in the old testiment has many electrical characteristics that are similar to Zeus. But the big labeling of everything evil kicked off with the catholics like the demonetization of the Greek Lucifer character (another version of Venus) whom was never that I could find previously associated with evil or bad actions.

Because most of these characters end up being personifications of natural energies or cycles I tend to ignore the labels of being evil by those that preached fire and brimstone unless there is a tangible association that can be made. I still don't understand why so many people hated the planet Venus so much.

By the first century, Satan as a name was being applied to the evil one, the demiurge. Because he is quite the adversary!

God in the Old Testament is conflated with many other gods. The prophets even say so, much to the dismay of inerrantists.
