Don't tell them this electromagnetic radiation from cell phones is everywhere even if you don't have a phone, Cell phones emit low levels of non-ionizing radiation when in use. The type of radiation emitted by cell phones is also referred to as radio frequency (RF) energy.

How for the bad news, AM-FM radio, CB radios, Ham radios all emit RF .

Back when early radio technology was released, there was also concern raised about how they might interfere with our biology.

Yeah I know, many years ago I had a horizontal and vertical 6 element beam antenna kinda like this and the neighbour thought if it was pointed at his home it would kill him.

At up to 2kw it actually might. I always thought it was the power that mattered and that is a higher powered one.

The human body is an electrical/ionic system that normally only sees about 100-120v at 10picoamp (per sq meter) from the atmosphere. I covered a lot of that info in this post if you missed it.

Cell phones emit radiation in the radiofrequency region of the electromagnetic spectrum. Second-, third-, and fourth-generation cell phones (2G, 3G, 4G) emit radiofrequency in the frequency range of 0.7–2.7 GHz. Fifth-generation (5G) cell phones are anticipated to use the frequency spectrum up to 80 GHz.

These frequencies all fall in the nonionizing range of the spectrum, which is low frequency and low energy. The energy is too low to damage DNA. By contrast, ionizing radiation, which includes x-rays, radon, and cosmic rays, is high frequency and high energy. Energy from ionizing radiation can damage DNA. DNA damage can cause changes to genes that may increase the risk of cancer.

The human body does absorb energy from devices that emit radiofrequency radiation. The only consistently recognized biological effect of radiofrequency radiation absorption in humans that the general public might encounter is heating to the area of the body where a cell phone is held (e.g., the ear and head). However, that heating is not sufficient to measurably increase core body temperature. There are no other clearly established dangerous health effects on the human body from radiofrequency radiation.

Yes but that is from an ionizing vs non-ionizing perspective. Tesla was able to almost knock down a whole building with a small motor vibrator. Everything has a resonant frequency and groups of things have a group resonant frequency and groups of groups..... We tune to the dipole magnetic moment of the proton with nuclear magnetic resonance in earth's magnetic field (EF NMR) at around 2200hz. This is just one instance of an entire field of science under "spintronics". Which can include the resonant frequency of molecules, groups of molecules, forms and shapes exc...And then can even get into the sound frequency range of resonance of the collective in "phonon" spintronics.... And of course the amplified effects of multi leveled multi-dimentional resonance in a supersymetry fashion like the old monoliths and cathedrals.

Edit kinda went off subject, but I assumed 2kw at close range would be harmful regardless of frequency just because of the power.

Read the title "Phones that emit the most - and least - radiation", Phones not ionizing, nuclear magnetic resonance or cars. PHONES

Not yet, but there might be in the future.

Some experiments have suggested that there may be biological effects at non-thermal exposure levels, but the evidence for production of health hazard is contradictory and unproven. The scientific community and international bodies acknowledge that further research is needed to improve our understanding in some areas.

The discovery of electromagnetic waves, including radio waves, by Heinrich Rudolf Hertz in the 1880s. So how far in the future, 500, 1000.

A regular microwave oven operates at around 2.7ghz, this is capable of cooking meat in a matter of minutes. The military use 5g technology as a weapon. It is incredibly naive to dismiss all non-ionising radiation as harmless.

Hold on whil I get my tin hat.

So it's a conspiracy to believe that thermal radiation in a microwave oven can harm DNA and that widely acknowledged availability of military weaponry using similar technology exists? Or perhaps you can safely put your head in said oven without coming to any harm?

Look into the "search terms" in my other comment response to this. NMR, spintronics, phonon.. It's not about ionizing energy, it's about the resonant coupling. Fascinating field of matter manipulation I have been obsessed with for a while and am close to having a rig built to experiment with. .
