You think it's easier to fill some of the largest buildings on the planet with explosives, and fly remote aircraft into them, and fool the CIA, FBI, and courts into ignoring the evidence?

Is that easier than to staging a hoax shooting at an abandoned school? How many people lived in your community or went to your school that you never heard of?

I supposed that you could just pay them, assuming that they were corrupt enough.

Staging several deaths involves faking several entire lives, including winning awards, etc. etc. and honestly I think that's less believable than faking an act of terrorism, because this "faking" is really just different people having purportedly done it.
