Were you near this toxic fire? If so, what have you personally observed?

I'm within 100 miles but not directly near, due west approximately 2 counties away, I've not seen any sign in this direction but there's been reports of toxic water south around Steubenville and further southwest towards Cincinnati. Ohio is already somewhat of a toxic wasteland, just adding more on top.

Thank you for your response. I heard that the wind was moving northwest during the time of the fire, so maybe the wind pushed the smoke north of you. But the chemicals in the air must come down somewhere onto the earth or drop down on the water. I pray you would have clean water.

I'm grateful for your prayers and the good-wishes, we are playing it safe, please be well yourself.

Good news for you: It looks like the wind carried the toxic smoke northeast. (I previously remembered hearing northwest, but I guess that was wrong.)

Still, I'm heartbroken it's going to come down on anyone and the river might not be in great condition. Overall, a disappointing incident for us all. Thanks for the info.
