I got two "secret" ingredients to "solve" most minty "problems" of humane (<- the "e" is fully intentional) existence:

  • Steal code and ideas. Like Aaron Swartz proposed by action, knowledge shouldn't be "hideable" in times, like ours, right now.

This not only is outdated, it also puts experts in the wrong places, instead of their "natural" ones.

  • Let "the people" decide.

Present actual solutions and do a public vote.

Civilized: Where the creators have to take not only the money, like nowadays, but also the responsibility for their decision.

By explaining themselves, of course.

Implement this kind of "sanity":

BOOM:

  • patent trolling is dead
  • hinders corruption
  • encourages "innovation"

I also suppose that a lot of litigation lawyers could be permanently out of business with this one.

I agree. Limited as it may be, I prefer mob rule over "elite" or "expert" rule - especially in this communication age.

Even shitty solutions are better than no solutions or the opposite of solutions.

Ancient Greece wasn't that bad but nowadays our percepted reality becomes more Orwellian by the second.

And (as usual) it isn't this "bad people do bad things" (because where is the news in this after centuries of human culture actually, then ?) but more like most sheeple in there fucfic-trance watching it happening.

Actual democracy is a process and imho those old Greek mofos - nonetheless - were nearer to it than we will probably ever get to it.

It's not just sheeple - they're only half the problem. It's that bad people build corrupt rigged systems and those systems are infinitely more difficult to avoid - or make fair and just. Those systems are like mecha kaiju, stamping on a human face, forever.

Perhaps. There is still hope for Direct Democracy and other /s/Autonomy solutions.
