Take good vitamin D if you're supplementing. I thought that I was doing good by taking 6000 daily after my mediocre test.

After taking it for quite awhile, and being retested my levels didn't budge. Trying some other kind now and at higher levels.

Also, making a concerted effort to avoid using the microwave.
