Look up the "Stop WOKE" Act. And it's not about defending freedom against the WOKE. He trying to be a censor because he's pissed at them.

This is just like that movie The Godfather, where the honest guy enters a life of evil and corruption in attempt to save what he loves...and destroys it in the process.

He all by himself with no input from the legislature, passed the bill into law. An amazing feat.

Well, I looked it up, Florida HB7. I'm only a couple pages in but so far it's an anti discrimination bill. If I have learned anything, it's to read the bills. All the "don't say gay" crap, the bill stopped teachers from talking to students about sex, sexuality, and teachers sexual preferences on grades pre-k to 3. I read the bill. For anyone who wants to read it: https://www.flsenate.gov/Session/Bill/2022/7/?Tab=BillText

Provides that subjecting individuals to specified concepts under certain circumstances constitutes discrimination based on race, color, sex, or national origin; revising requirements for required instruction on the history of African Americans; requiring the department to prepare and offer certain standards and curriculum; authorizing the department to seek input from a specified organization for certain purposes; prohibits instructional materials reviewers from recommending instructional materials that contain any matter that contradicts certain principles; requires DOE to review school district professional development systems for compliance with certain provisions of law.

It may make SJWs seethe, but it's not a conservative bill by any means.
