In the late 80's, a sex ring was exposed involving high level politicians, members of the church, and members of the media in Boys Town Nebraska. Victims who spoke out were silenced, charged with perjury, and some murdered.

people who are automatically going in denial mode are likely astroturfs

Think about it, if you did the research, you'd know there's a lot of cases. If you didn't do the research, then why would anyone automatically assume that there's not a lot of cases?
