Going off memory, I don't think he was a reporter, but a private investigator. They believe Gary Caradori's private plane was tampered with.

Tory Boner's brother was also murdered after the family was receiving threats from the FBI

Foul play behind these deaths are just speculation. Finding the truth would require an investigation. The investigation, of course, can't be conducted by the factions being accused.

In the case of the Franklin child prostitution ring allegations, separate state and federal grand juries concluded that they were liars.

I note also that "[t]he claims primarily centered on Lawrence E. King Jr., who ran the now defunct Franklin Community Federal Credit Union in Omaha, Nebraska, and alleged that the ring was "a cult of devil worshipers involved in the mutilation, sacrifice and cannibalism of numerous children", so the allegations are also batshit crazy.
