School gardens, community gardens, urban farms, and small-scale agriculture projects in rural, suburban and urban areas can be recognized as a “People’s Garden” if they register on the USDA website and meet criteria including benefitting the community, working collaboratively, incorporating conservation practices and educating the public.

The kabutz is important comrade. The people's gardens are the backbone of the Democratic People's Republic. You can read about it in the People's Newspaper and see it on the People's Broadcast station. Now come participate in the People's joint exercise activity and wear your people's work wear.

Your garden grows too fruitful, comrade. The vegetables will be confiscated and redistributed. For the people!

Mary mary quite contrary how does your garden grow. With silver bells and cockleshells and pretty little maids in a row.

Mary mary is quite scary for having a garden like that. What pointless waste is in poor taste when stolen from the proletariat.

Much like weed, don't grow anything out in public that you wouldn't be cool with the neighbors, the cops, or the local wildlife having ready access to.

Why would anybody even bother? What's there to gain from doing so? My garden is my own business.

A nice aspect of growing mushrooms is that they don't need light.
