I can't believe Terry Melcher is still getting away with what he did and even playing some kind of victim.

He not only stole Manson's song (which is one of the things which drove him crazy/crazier) but basically used Manson as his pimp to access young girls. Some of those girls were 14. Manson was a white trash Epstein. He provided rich people with teen girls. And no one ever addresses that part.

Also they knew full well Melcher wasn't going to be in the Tate house because the Family had been partying there so it wasn't a case of mistaken identity. Rather because they had been partying there they knew there was a rich drug dealer living there (Wojciech Frykowski) so wanted the money. Tex said during the attack that he was looking for thousands of dollars in cash. Two of the other people they attacked were also drug dealers, killing criminals for their ill gotten gains is seen as victimless crime by many and likely the Family kids thought that too.

No one made Manson a bad guy, his childhood did that, he raped a male classmate at school which is why he first got involved with the authorities. But he was definitely involved in all sorts of groups which were much bigger than the Family. In fact there's quite a few murders related to Manson which happened after they were all arrested and it's though this is because they had/have covert members throughout Hollywood.

Interesting, where did you get that info? I'm not challenging; just wondering. I just ordered the O'Neill book and it took a while because it's almost sold out. Probably Rogan gave the book a huge boost. if you order it be careful because some other 'writer' is usung the same title, Chaos. So, I can't really discuss that situation intelligently without reading O'Neill's book and whatever you've read. So maybe the c i a was trying to do an Epstein thing intel ring. Duh. Have you ever read Joan Didion's White Album? It doesn't go deep with info like you mentioned but she describes the paranoia that held S.Cali in its grip after whatever we should call the Manson Affair. Like anything the Catholics in Action is involved in, there are various layers of contradiction involved and the truth is hard to find. I'm having to write on a virtual keyboard since my wife poured a glass of vodka tonic directly into my keyboard. We usually get along but sometimes but now and then there are glitches. I was single until 37. Marriage is for the weak and I'm weak, especially for booze. You are a breath of fresh air on saidit that is starting to spin out of control with no leadership. So tell me where you got the info and my new/used keyboard will arrive shortly. Thanks

Charles Manson: Coming Down Fast by Simon Wells, various articles on the internet and trial testimonies.

I mean the info is all out there, you don't have to read a specific book.

I didn't know when I wrote it but I had a search and apparently this is already well worn theory about why the murders happened. https://www.charlesmanson.com/theories/drug-burn/

All right and thanks. — a month later: Just finished reading Chaos and the CIA was all over Charlie Manson from years before the murders. BTW, Chaos is really not worthit unless you wnt the footnotes. Just know it was a CIA op to see what drugs could be used for Mind Kontrol and LSD is a good one given time.

I was u/mifu for a month and missed a lot. Just now getting this maill from you and a ton from other. Chaos is not worth it except for the last third or so. Your contributions to saidit are appreciated, giving it a common sense grounding. Thanks for this info.

No. I don't think I will be.

It's called a figure of speech.
