I heard he sold his invention to Ford and Ford sat on it and did nothing.

I suppose he made the "Stanley Steamer" that reached outrageous speeds for the time and then just faded away.

You never saw the SS on old news reels? It must be on YouTube. I think back then people didn't think that way.

Oh man, this is quite the rabbit hole.

This guy is interesting, not directly related to this story, but he's also a fringe physicist: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ruggero_Santilli

Wouldn't surprise me. If they buy up patents just to make sure nobody ever uses them, why not this.

That is why you don't build stuff in western countries to show around to "investors".

It is very likely that you get mossad'ed for it. Or some patent trolls buy out your investors. (If it actually is innovative.) To put your stuff into a drawer till the end of time.

Exactly my kind of take on things like this.

Patent trolls should be prosecuted consequently. This surely could be done by a "economic crime" division of the FBI but they are more occupied with collecting political ammunition instead. Either digging it up or hiding proof.

The conspiracy theory podcast mentions this story in their free energy episodes. The part about Stanley Meyer starts 27 minutes in.

One possible alternative to the gasoline or diesel burning vehicle is one that runs on HHO..

HHO is something of a virgin technology, it has yet to be refined so that it can be put into production vehicles

HHO is a burnable gas that, in simple terms, is produced by passing a DC voltage thru water that contains some baking soda . The gas can be stored in canisters

HHO does require a DC electrical source to produce the gas, but this can be acquired from any source, perhaps solar.

Here is the cool part of burning HHO.. it doesn't produce any toxic exhaust... except rain clouds basically.
