Due to the influence that freemasonry has had over the years, people should know about how the Vatican has manipulated it for its own ends.

Edward Waite wrote about the influence that the Jesuits had over freemasonry. One of the most relevant historical facts involving the use of the group for evil were the masonic revolutions, which the Jesuits used to destroy the religious protestant systems in the first world nations. After losing the traditionalist systems people became much easier to manipulate with the coming of capitalism. Even Napoleon himself greatly feared the Jesuits:
